The Bhutan Olympic Committee, in collaboration with Johnnys Dad, Brian Strange and Salad Days of Skateboarding, is thrilled to announce the Summer Skate Camp at the Johnny Strange Skatepark in Thimphu, Bhutan. This exciting event will run from July 8th to July 17th, featuring world-class skateboarding lessons led by renowned skaters James and Toey from Thailand.
Honoring Johnny Strange’s Legacy
Johnny Strange, an extraordinary adventurer and philanthropist, left an indelible mark on the world. His adventures took him across the globe, but it was in Bhutan that he found a unique connection. After Johnny’s death in 2015, Johnny’s Father Brian Strange built the skate park as a tribute to the late Johnny Strange extreme sport and adventurous spirit and dedication to empowering the next generation.
The Significance of the Summer Skate Camp
This summer camp is not just a celebration of skateboarding; it is a celebration of community, inspiration, and the enduring legacy of Johnny Strange.
